Vibrant raspberry-garnett hues in the glass introduce an alluring nose of blackberry, dark cherry and rose petals. With silvan berry, black currant and blood plum fruit characters in the mouth and star anise top notes, the succulent acidity of the wine is counterbalanced by the soft tannins which envelope it.

This wine handles more robust dishes such as roast beef, lamb or pork. It is a perfect match to a big juicy steak or game meats such as kangaroo or venison. Also well suited to richly flavoured casseroles or tomato based pasta dishes.”
